Thanks to the generous donation of all of our Fossil Fans, we were able to raise $1400 (!!!) at this event. Half of the money went to the Bastrop County Food Bank. With that money they were able to purchase 7,000 POUNDS of food. The other half of the money was donated to the Bastrop Independent School District Teacher Emergency Fund. Sixty-three Bastrop teachers lost their homes in the fires and this money will go to support them as they are working to rebuild. Thank you all very, very much. -Fossils

September 24, 2010 - George and Tracy\'s Birthday Bash - Celebrated by Friends, Loyal Patrons, and the Fossil Family. Thank You, Club 21, for the Memories - sincerely, The Fossils. Sadly, early Sunday morning (October 24th), an unexplained automobile accident caused Club 21 to catch fire and burn to the ground. There is nothing left but ashes and lots of memories. Club 21 is now closed after 117 years. The building did not have fire insurance and since the vehicles involved in the accident at this time seem to be un-insured and abandoned, there are no funds to rebuild. There is talk of re-building the dancehall due to the outpouring of support from our Central Texas neighbors.</i>
